Any alarm company can say that they have the best central station, but can they prove it?

The Five Diamond is the highest professional certification that is issued annually by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA). The prestigious Five Diamond award needs to be earned every year. The rigorous certification test for the Five Diamond requires that every operator at the central station pass a test for proficiency in the many phases of central station emergency service. Every operator at the central station must also demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in emergency codes, alarm verification, electronic communications, Underwriters Laboratories standards, and NFPA standards. In addition to this, the central station must show an exceptional level of responsibility with the local law enforcement and a dedication to reducing false alarms.

There are currently around 2,700 central stations in the United States. There are less than 100 Five Diamond certified stations nation wide.

UL Certified Monitoring - Central Station 24/7 Hour Monitoring

Go Safer Security utilizes a state-of-art central monitoring station that is both certified by UL and is a CSAA Five Diamond designated central station. These are among the highest certifiable standards in the security industry.

Refrigeration and Temperature Control:

Some businesses need constant monitoring for refrigeration to protect perishable goods, such as grocery stores or meat packing facilities.

Opening and Closing:

Another common daily monitoring service is called “opening and closings”. This daily service makes sure the business is open on time and closed on time. If the business is not open on time, the appropriate subscriber on the call list is notified that the store is not open. When the business is scheduled to close at night, the central station monitors to make sure the facility is properly armed when the employees leave the building. If the alarm system is disarmed during “closed hours” with a pass code that is not authorized to enter at this time, a call is made to the location and a notification is sent to the appropriate subscriber on the call list.

Video Monitoring:

GSS video monitoring is more than alarm verification. GSS can also provide scheduled video guard tours for selected times during the night when the business is closed. This can be used in conjunction with an existing guard patrol service to make sure gates are locked, doors are closed, and machinery is properly stored. These are a few examples where video surveillance can also provide protection for a business.

Our UL Central Station 24/7 monitoring services include:

  • Burglar alarm systems: monitored opening and closing, hold up alarms
  • Video surveillance systems: video surveillance monitoring
  • Access control systems: monitoring of user access, door held open alerts
  • Water leak protection: monitoring of sensors that detect water leaks
  • Environmental monitoring: temperature and humidity monitoring
